Any chance of having a quick 5 minute panic?

I know it's a bit early for the main panic to come but just want to get in a bit of practice.

Nah.

Not until we are behind two of Southend, Scunthorpe, Oldham and Barrow.

They are the (only) four I have finishing below us in the SA Preddy Comp and all four remain beneath us now, two of whom have scored fewer than us and conceded more than twice as many!

If we lose on Satdi I will have my first bit of concern, but am a long way off worrying just yet.

Wasn't it Orient last year we were saying this about?

Just before they came to our place and gobbed us in the mouth.

After 7 games the league table is meaningless. I'm not even looking at it.

Those clubs could be above us in a game. (Haven't check actual points)

We saw Scunthorpe the other season we were fighting with at the bottom of the table forst 10 or so games at the start of the season, then they ended up being in the playoffs or something like that.

Relying on other teams being worse is a dangerous game.

Should be looking at our own performances and seeing if they are up to standard. Currently they are not.

Yes and no.

I fully expect them to be down the bottom at the end so am currently being proven correct and don't expect to see more than one of them climb the table in any great manner. Which is pleasing for us as we may need it.

That Scunthorpe squad was different to this one as it had good players to return from injury. This one is far weaker, and doesn't have quality to return to make them better.

As fans there isn't anything we can do about our performances to make them better. So we look for solace elsewhere. Those sides being as shit as I hoped/expected them to be is currently that solace we need.

Just what I needed to hear. Now, what are we saying about the playoffs, sneak in on matchday 46?

If we win Saturday it's all gonna be fine, if we lose I am going to sling unwarranted abuse at Revs until the inevitable.
