Our best performance in a few weeks. Now let's just do some goals!

Vincelot was immense.

Good work Sampson!

Yep, good work Sampson another game without a goal...

That said, a much more solid performance all round, desperately need more creativity and goals to go with it now..

Looked better balance at the back with Vancootan
Vincalot had a great game. (he was awful Saturday)
Midfield much better
Forwards better but need to hold the ball up
Its was like the alarmo for the defence
Much better performance
Need to build on it

I don't get how professional footballers can be so shit at hitting the target.

The warning signs are there
Huge similarity to last year

Can’t score a goal can’t bag a win

Yet again defensively we appear to be Grouped in with the better teams but the only team that has scored less is Southend youth.

Once teams work out we can’t score they will just cherry pick a time to take the 3 points with a win and a clean sheet

Can we find a constant that makes us play this way
Other teams even the shit ones seem to score goals and win matches every 4/5 games

I should clarify this – our longest-ever run without a goal overall is six games; the first time happening in April 1988 when we were relegated from Vauxhall Opel League Division One (/www.boroguide.co.uk/records/longest-runs/). It may have happened since - that page only lists the top instance.

0-3 v Worthing
0-1 v Uxbridge
0-3 v Walton & Hersham
0-0 v Oxford City
0-3 v Lewes
0-1 v Staines Town

Given the stage of the season, these are all league games. But the record stands for all comps. As things stand, we're five game without a goal in all comps; though our six-game stretch in League Two is comparable with that.

If it helps, we ended the above run with a 1-0 home win at Basildon. WATCH OUT GRIMBLESBY.

Just the 5 changes from Saturday.

Luther has obviously run over a dog.

TVC at RB (not his best position) in a 4-3-3 with List, Dinanga and Akinwande up top.

Vincelot starts with Read and Osborne in the middle. (Vincelot hasn't impressed me yet)

Carter still on the bench.

It's either bold or desperate. I'm going bold.

People were suggesting Revell should be sacked if he doesn't drop Luther after his post-match interview on Satdi.

TvC was shocking at RB last season. Hopefully improved today.

Akinwande has impressed me the least of all our attacking options. At least Dinanga and List will not give them an easy night.

Vincelot is not only awful, but a horrible cheat. Didn't want him from the start, still don't. I like Read and Osborne. Hope Carter is back soon.

Really hope we get something tonight.

TVC is not a fullback. He's a decent enough CB and can pick a pass. I like him as a CB.

Vincelot is just not mobile enough.

Read and Osborne I like too.

Pleased to see List back in the XI, and TvC getting another shot, and there are plenty of options on the bench for once.

Not sure how helpful it is that we seem to be changing the front three every game though, they are never gonna find a rhythm or form.
