Club Value

How much do we reckon the club is worth now we've been absolute dogshit for 5+ years?

Can we have a crowd fund and buy him out?

What are people expecting if Phil was to leave. Surely we're more likely to end up a basket case (see Macclesfield/Bury/Southend) than rediscover any sort of former glories (which was entirely Phil's doing in the first place)

I don't really want him replaced. I just want him to get someone in who understands football and what a half decent player looks like.

Whatever system is being used to identify managers clearly isn’t working. So change it.

The players we recruit are predominantly dog shit. Change the person responsible for recruiting them.

I’d take a basket case that was semi enjoyable to support.

The club does so much positive stuff off the pitch. It’s like the football is getting in the way of the rest of it.

Phil is a good chairman. A bit tight, but solid enough. We are lucky to have him running the overall club.

What he cannot do, for the life of him, is pick a football manager or make any decisions that make sense from a footballing perspective. So I'd love to see him bring someone in to run the football side of things, while he continues to work on the other great pieces like the COVID stuff, and the BK sponsorship etc etc.

Wallace has done a lot of good for this club. A lot. But he needs to recognise where his short-comings are. Having a director of football (I assume that's what the role would be) to hire/fire managers, and run all the football specific pieces, would no doubt be an additional cost, but surely it's better than continuing to pay one under-performing manager after another (plus the severance).

The problem is... does Wallace have the ability to hire someone to be a director of football? Probably not.

"Highly rated"

Overhauled our scouting, recruitment and academy set-up....

Ok the academy seems to be ticking along nicely, presumably because of the coaches and the fact Leon never visits. I guess one out of three is better than our win ratio.

Big sponsorship deals off the pitch
Absolutely shocking on it
Don’t worry tho we have learned our lessons from last season
Wallace this is on you
It’s now going to take an incredible effort for any experienced manager to get you out this mess
Have no faith in your ability as chairman to pick a manager or provide a squad good enough for league football

Back to the non league circuit we go, it was fun, but now it’s agony and there is only one person to point the finger at, the chairman
