Appreciate what you've done for this club over the years but I think now may be a good time to go our separate ways.
Have a think at least.
In football you sometimes get bummed 4 nil by a good side after a long away trip. Why don’t you and the rest of our pony fuckpig ‘supporters’ go a separate way?
And if you’re a trolly all’s well. That goes out to all the fuckpigs
A wise man once said...
"What a MASSIVE reprieve we had in the summer and yet the nothing changed. Scoffed at the second chance given.
Cheap 'yes men' management and cheap players. We got lucky ten or so years ago, can't see lightning striking twice.
Making the same mistakes year after year and yet still expecting the outcome to be different?"
I'm not sure the players are particularly cheap, they just look that way.
Wycombe capitalised when they just stayed up and look at them now. We're maybe not quite as bad as last year but we're on the way there
Oink Oink. Up the fuckpigs. See you in the sty Robbie darling
Lewis Hamilton and that guy who writes books and only comes when he’s got a new one out.
They should buy the club.
The great thing about Lewis Hamilton is that through his partnership with Tommy Hilfiger we'd be able to get cheap kits. Obviously, we'd have to overcome the sick feeling about wearing things made slaves who have been trafficked, but if Lewis Hamilton can do it, we can too.
Ian Poulter is loaded, a football fan and Arsenal are a bit shit...
Who does he sell to?
How do we know the next owner will be as invested as Wallace?
How do we know the next owner won't be another Victor Green?
How do we get someone in who will make sure we do as much for the community and off the pitch?
Posting stuff like this with no thought or potential solutions is a waste of a click.
He's a good chairman. You need to have a re-think. I like Revs but I think his time is up. Sampson needed to go months back.
Wallace needs to wake up this shit needs to stop all respect to him for giving an inexperienced manager a chance but time calls for Wallace to put his hands in pockets and go for a manager that knows what they are doing
Westley has been our most successful manager. Snagged him from Farnborough, he was pretty inexperienced.
In contrast, we had Peter Taylor who had huge experience.
The type of experience is important. Sadly, we're in a situation where we have time, that if Westley were ever a good idea, this would be it. I am NOT suggesting he is the answer, we need to move on, but we need someone ambitious, hungry, motivated, and who knows how to build a cohesive team.
Honestly, I'd take Mark Roberts. He's been working with a lot of teams recently, knows the club, the fans, and is a fierce competitor. Consummate professional, goal-oriented. No idea if he'd be interested though, likely not, he's working on an MBA.
Pretty sure he is happy back up here in the North West.
Yeah, I don't think he'd want it. Just thinking of the type of person who would be good. Experience doesn't mean they'd be a good fit any more than no experience means they can't do the job. Everyone starts somewhere.
We've seen that experience doesn't mean anything.
We've seen that playing under the best managers in the world means nothing.
We've seen inexperience be successful.
We've seen managers stab us in the back.
It's all a risk and seemingly good decisions go wrong, and risks pay off.
This doesn't only happen to us, it happens to all clubs. Some ride it out longer, and some fix the formula.
Wouldn't want Robbo, or Beardsley or any of our legends to come here and risk sullying their reputation with the current setup.
That's a fair shout, I was more talking about someone in that mould, which would include him. I was addressing the dislike some have for up and coming managers in favor of experience. We've seen it all, and none guarantee success, we it's about the right person at the right time. I think he'd do well, but accept there is a risk to status if it goes wrong.
If anyone can crack management from a standing start it's him. He is, in fact, already our second most successful manager in terms of EFL results. He is intelligent and inspirational...and sadly, I don't think he would touch it with a barge pole.
No point in paying for a good manager and giving them this squad.
Well relegation it will be then
He's a good chairman with absolutely no idea about football.

What in the last 20+ years makes you think he's going to do that?
So I presume you're going to put hundreds of thousand's of £s into the club then?

All this Wallace out stuff is bollocks and needs nipping in the bud. He’s a good chairman.
He does need to find someone who can recruit a manager and players though. Leon needs to go, the absolute wank we’ve had on the playing front in the last few years is testament to the fact he isn’t doing his job well enough.
The 'Wallace Out' gang evolved from the keyboard bashing simpletons previously shouting 'Westley In' after every fucking bad result. Once their God had failed they needed another slogan to cling on to.
It's like MAGA for division 4 football fans
Agree .We should we careful what we for.
Or we could perhaps hope some random celeb or some oddball like the old Macca owner turns up.
Or maybe get someone who might actually invest in management side and players and let the manager choose the players he wants to work with
But maybe that would be a pipe dream
Yeah Matt Godden, Jamaal Lascelles, Ilias Chair all shit players. Terrible recruiting.
That is a good five a side team in 7?years? Also, Lascelles was before his time?
That’s like playing the lottery and having six numbers come up. One a week, spread out over a period of years. It means fuck all.
Lascelles was seven games eight years ago. Half the games played out of position. LOLz
Lascelles the highly rated youth prospect from Nottingham Forest, where Leon previously worked. Spooky.
Almost. He joined them after.
So they obviously noticed his eye for talent...
Ha ha. It’s idiot night
And I include myself in that naturally

Damn facts getting in the way of a good point.
Congrats on naming three players, two of which were loans.
Who would come in? Who will bank roll the club? Far easier to get a new manager, coaching staff and players at this time. What he needs is support finding a suitable manager.
For everything people say about PW, he hasn't run the club into non-existance (Macclesfield!)
Yeah people don’t buy football clubs all the time.
Yeh, and people don't hire managers either. Good point.
Is that Phil ? or the CEO? or that Leon bloke? who actually recruits
No question Phil owns & runs the club , BUT DELEGATE's to Alex and/or Others the day to day stuff
As someone posted earlier WE DON'T WANT ANOTHER VICTOR GREEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Go to Companies House website and look at the club's accounts. SIMPLES
Short summary accounts don't tell you much at all. I doubt we publish all the detail, only what is required by the rules.
And as any accountant will tell you, published accounts are 'flexible' and can say what you want them to say to an extent, depending on how you separate the assets and amortise them.
Yep, ours are always very basic.
Sev and I were looking at Accrington's accounts this morning after Andy Holt put them on Twitter (Price of Football worth a follow too for club accounts).
Nice to imagine you both rubbing your naked legs together
I listen to the PoF podcast, have done for a year or so, it's interesting, educational and humourous. Never had a question answered on air but I do drop them the odd DM still.
Swiss Ramble on Twitter is also great for people who like football finance and stats.

Wallace’s track record of managers has always been shit, so I don’t think it’s down to anyone else.
That said, I do believe he gets suggestions from other people on who to hire for certain roles. For example I would imagine Lennie Lawrence connection from from Alex T’s time at Newport. Peter Taylor was down to Bob Makin.
Westley was because nobody else answered the phone. Multiple times.
"Far easier to get a new manager, coaching staff and players at this time"
Cos that's working.
No, it isn't working. But that is due to poor choices. Do you honestly think we could find a new chairman willing to cover the debt, knowing that bonds need to be repaid in the future?
Absolutely right. No way we could find a chairman to xome in! He just needs to get a new management team and director of football. We would be lost without wallace
Wallace's main problem is he tries to do everything on the cheap. Sometimes that is false economy. Would be crazy to be looking to get rid of him though!
We can't get rid of him. End of.
Only he can decide he's had enough.
He owns the training ground, that's gotta be worth a mint. If I was him and was being driven purely by money, I'd get planning permission for housing, trouser a good few million, move the squad back to the old training ground and close the foundation and academy set-up which don't turn a profit (and will lose even more without the EFL subsidies we won't have next year).
Sell to the wrong buyer and that's a very likely outcome.
And keep the nursery, a very profitable little business.
