Well done to Revs and Sampson

Looks like their hard work with the players behind the scenes is finally paying off.

Can only hope that Wilkins will push that hard work a little bit further.

One win doesn’t make her swallow, or something like that can’t remember the proverb to well in my age
Anyway it opens the back door, a lot of work still to be done, if we can beat Scunthorpe I believe we can amass over 40 points and will be in with a shout during the big scramble

Let’s hope any new additions are greater than last January
Come on BORO we can do this

If I heard right 4-5 possible new faces in Jan.Also it sounded may already be done deals.
From a budget/squad size angle I assume we will need to try to get some out even if on loan somehow.
Also still not clear on Jan window rules. If we can we sign players from clubs or just free agents or loans. If the latter loan numbers restrictions may also come in to play.

PW programme notes today says this.

Also seems to give an insight into the area looking to strengthen. In which case, can see some of our strikers moving on or being loaned out.

Christopher John Lines (born 30 November 1985) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for League One club Northampton Town. Lines turned professional at Bristol Rovers, and made his first team debut in January 2006. He played in the 2007 Football League Trophy final defeat and was an unused substitute in the League Two play-off final victory, before becoming a first team regular from the 2007–08 season. He was sold on to Sheffield Wednesday for £50,000 in August 2011, and was a key first team player as the "Owls" won promotion to the Championship at the end of the 2011–12 campaign. However, he lost his first team place the following season, and was loaned out to Milton Keynes Dons in January 2013.

He signed with Port Vale in July 2013. A key first team player in the 2013–14 season, he lost his first team place and returned to Bristol Rovers on loan in March 2015, helping Rovers to win promotion out of the Conference Premier via the play-offs before rejoining Rovers on a permanent basis in the summer. He helped Rovers to achieve a second successive promotion in the 2015–16 campaign and left the club, in May 2019, for the second time then he joined Northampton Town. He helped Northampton to win promotion out of League Two via the play-offs in 2020.

Not sure of the number of loans you can have, but you can only have five named in any match day team sheet.

I think it's the standard January transfer window, so could sign permanent players from clubs. I can see us mostly being in the loan market though.

Demanded is a strong word
For Revs and Sampson to move on was based on
how many wins they have BOTH achieved 2020
Its not personal
Its a Business at the end of the day and in Business you are either liked or effective.(generally)
Hard to get both
As I have said a few times, a different voice in that changing was obvious to many, needed. Hence Wilkins
Definately not impossible for a mid table finish.

We shouldn't forget that you learn nothing from playing Cambridge because they're awful, but I was shook to see we've lost one in the last six league games. Whilst I would've pulled the trigger after Southend, that form would see us comfortably midtable.
