When he resigned sure it was undisclosed but given previous injury I suggest maybe only one yr perhaps with extension options for both parties.
I can see him leaving.

Yes, me too if he's out of contract. Shame about his injury record. I'm sure he'd have loved to have been able to play more.

2 years for List and 1 year for Norris.

Good to have that sorted early on. Add one more proven ish and one young ish and that'll be good.

Keeps

I'd also like to keep:

Pett
Carter
Osborne
Wildin
Vancooten
Cuthbert
Lines
Cumming on another loan.

Some of the others I wouldn't mind keeping but equally wouldn't be devastated if they left and we found replacements.

I'd agree with most of that, but after a strong start, I think Lines levelled out a bit and I think his mobility will start to become an issue. I wouldn't be disappointed if we resigned him because he's experienced and will probably be good for the younger players, but I'd be disappointed if he is a regular starter next year. He was an excellent place holder, but shouldn't be anymore than that.

I think Pett does a more than adequate job as our deep lying playmaker, and I'd much rather we tried to get a combative or box-to-box player to go alongside him. Either that or give Osborne a run in central midfield and see if he can be more consistent.

Of course, I'm not saying Lines is bad, I just think it's one of the areas I'd be hoping we upgrade.

I'd like another loan for Read if he's available, or even snap him up if he's going to be released.

I know he's not featured as much recently but thought his passing was impressive and good at linking defence to attack. Handy player to have in the squad.

It’s rare for a player to be loaned two seasons in a row to the same club. Doubt we’ll get any of the current loanees back.

Hopefully Roles and that other guy stay though. Great signings.

I would definitely keep Coker (ahead of Martin) and Prosser, if the terms are right. There is nothing wrong with our defence.

Would not surprise me if a higher club come in close season for him. Even heard a rumour Swansea are interested. If he is not on a contract all we will get is compensation due to his age and no chance of any sell on fee etc.

I don't think it's entirely a coincidence that since we signed him we have done better. He's the level head in the midfield, like Joel before he got too old/slow.

I wouldn't be as upset if he left as long as we replaced him with someone with experience and a bit of quality.

But I put him and Cuthbert on the list as two experienced pros and for continuity which you need otherwise it's like starting all over again.

"like Joel before he got too old/slow."

The trick is recognizing when they are about to get too old and slow and releasing them before that. Obviously that's a tricky thing to do, but I think with older players, I'd prefer to take a gamble releasing them and being wrong, than signing them and being stuck with an expensive team mascot. Especially with our budget.

He's 35, and the wheels are going to come off imminently. There were a few games this season where he looked off the pace (admittedly, it was only one very brief patch). Overall he was a very good and a very impactful player, but I suspect we should be pleased to have had one good season out of him and call it a day.

Often think with older players the stuff we don’t see or aren’t privy to can often be the most important factors. Contract details, off the pitch influence on the rest of the squad etc. Think Lines has done enough to earn another year should the terms be right. Especially as we’re losing an experienced head in Vincelot around the squad.

Tonge and King were both great til they weren't any more and were probably kept a season too long, but I wouldn't have liked to be the manager to make the judgement that they no longer offered enough.
