Biggleswade FC as opposed to Town it seems and unannounced by us. So probably it was meant to be our Academy lads which has been closed re covid outbreak.

I put it in the PSF thread pinned to the top of the forum when it was announced.

It was indeed an XI fixture, same as our XI tie with Welwyn due three days later, which may also go.

WGC still on today pertheir site.
We may use this run outs for players coming back from knocks Plus try to keep a settled team on pitch at Dover for majority of match at Dover.
PS Dover 12pm KO .Another strange time.

Not Luke, James his Brother, at WGC. Seems no sign of him or any or the others. Seems complete Academy line up.
PS 4-3 to us.

I was surprised to see Cuthbert and TVC sitting on the bench for a whole 90 minutes today. I wondered if a few players would be given 90 against Welwyn as it is the last match before league starts.

Or will there be a sneaky behind closed door friendly lined up midweek to get some of the crooked players some minutes?

Don't need to risk them.

We already know what they can offer, they have already played with their fellow defenders throughout last season (only Anang is new, who was sat in the stand) and they have played enough, especially TvC who played a few times for Guyana in June/July.

Yep, seems like our team is mostly decided and would expect us to be very similar to those who started against Watford, except wearing a sexy purple kit instead.

As a side note, it is a lovely morning in Dover and should be a good afternoon for those attending, I am currently sat looking out at the ocean listening to the waves lap in.

Inexplicably, Skybet have pushed us out to 2-1 for a top half finish.
They'll let you have £50.

What's their reason for restricting the amount someone can bet? Some of these bookmakers seem to make arbitrary decisions based on their own profit margins. Still, can't see them being better regulated, they probably have the government in their pocket..

Of course they do. They are in it for the fun of it. I enjoy the contest, and because of the plethora of online betting options, it isn't as one-sided as it used to be. The best value is usually found on the betting exchanges, but they don't cover as many markets. I did manage a couple of quid on us at 69-1 to win League Two on Betfair.
Bet 365 now have a handicap book on League Two open and offer four places each way. Handicap markets can be a bit of a minefield if you aren't used to them, but we are excellent each way value at + 20 points (18/1).

Ha! I wasn't suggesting they weren't in it for the profits, however, I do think some of the decisions made should not be allowed. I'm thinking especially when restrictions are put in place because an individual is winning "too much".

Edit: unless, of course, there's an element of foul play.
