Apparently there isn't any until the semi-finals this season?

Last season it was £5k IIRC for R1, £7k for R2

Presumably Luton get a share of the gate receipts otherwise away teams literally lose money every game.

WHAT A NIGHT!!

I think the most impressive thing for me was the football we played. But more so the way that we have a style of how we want to play and that keeps improving week on week. You can see that the players work on the style everyday in training, because it’s showcased in the games. The way that we can move the ball well on the deck, but at the same time we have the ability to get Listy through on goal by a ball over the top. Terrific stuff!

I’d say one of the best nights at The Lamex for sure, loved it. Just seeing Reeves smash home the winner on pens and being able to celebrate with everyone was special. Plus, I don’t think we’ve lost a penalty shoot out in front of the new north yet have we?

Great to be in the next round, more money for the club as well!

Really bloody enjoyed that. Even without the penalties that was a thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining match of football, where we more than matched them.

Again some very decent stuff played, and some dangerous attacks at pace where we created opportunities. And again we looked really dangerous and impressive for large spells of the second half. I have a few concerns over our squad depth, but if we can stay injury free the first two games are fully backing up my pre-season belief that we have a very decent squad who could have a really impressive and enjoyable season.

Best of all they all look like they know exactly what they are doing and what is expected of them, and have the confidence, belief, and talent to do it. We have a style and an identity. Can't wait for the weekend already!

Agreed. I also said the same about squad depth, particularly with Reeves and Taylor - can they maintain those levels over a season and if they are injured I’d imagine a drop off in quality , albeit Lines is a decent back up. I’ve been really impressed with Reid up front, looks a handful and can run in behind as well as come short to hold the ball up.

Still got Arthur Read to come back in too, another very decent midfield option.

Plus Jack Smith.

Think we still need to strengthen plus we are light on numbers.Know Revs wants smaller squad so competition but can see 1-2 coming in .Perhaps loans.

I'm anxious about cover for Coker. Otherwise I'd want a wide left player but I think we're just planning on rotating through the existing midfielders there.

Really entertaining game, and lots of positive play. Based on how we’re setting ourselves up to play this is gonna be a fun season. Worthy mentions all over the pitch, 7s and 8s across the board but nothing more confidence building than the cool heads under pressure enabled good possession and build up play for extended periods. Couldn’t pick anyone I wasn’t pleased with, subs included. Big shout to Anang, settled performance and of course made Luton pay for two uninspired penalties.

Boing. Boing.

That run from Norris from the halfway line to the edge of the box before he set up Osborne was quality. Such a shame Osborne didn't put his laces through it first time.

Yeah Luke gave Elliott an earful for that! From my perspective the pass gave the defender the room to get in the way and there was no chance of the shot getting past him, so I thought he did the right thing. Three of four times Norris bullied their defence off of 50/50 balls though, and made meaningful use of it. As good as I’ve seen him.

Great to win against Championship opposition. Not quite the glamour of the FA Cup but a great morale boosting, team bonding experience and keeps the winning mentality going.

Hope everyone enjoys their evening.

Yeah they’ve got some quality as their second goal made evident. Mainly they don’t seem to have fancied putting more work in than they can get away with, and we’ve made a good game of it. We did play a few rushed long balls towards the end of the half but mainly been good to watch.

*edit* - might be wrong, the website suggests you can buy an audio pass for tonight's game for £2.50. So hopefully it is live shortly.
