I'll be traveling solo (billy no mates) by train to Sutton tomorrow, or as close as you can get anyway. Has anyone got a Boro pub stop organised anywhere?

Back on sale now online and at the club shop, with the match "expected to go ahead".

Still no tickets available on the day of the game.

Bradford's ticket office initially told me they couldn't sell me an away ticket until I furrowed my brow hard enough that they went and printed one off.

There really is no excuse for making it difficult to obtain a piece of paper that says you can go into a football ground in exchange for money.

I have spoken to a Sutton chap this afternoon who informs their away allocation is currently around 600, so suspects it is because they expect a large away crowd and don't want to potentially have people turning up when it is sold out.

Update from Sutton

https://suttonunited.proboards.com/thread/11351/sutton-stevenage

“I just wanted to give a quick update following the unfortunate postponement of the away game scheduled for last weekend at Colchester.

“We have been in contact with the EFL this afternoon following further Covid test results. The Club has moved to "Red" protocols at the training ground, and continues to monitor developments daily, in addition to the outlook for players currently unavailable through injury. There have been a small number of additional positive test outcomes, but no more affecting players. With the return from international duty, and potential prognosis of the injury situation, we have informed the league we are in a position to host both Stevenage and Hartlepool.

There may be some small changes to how we manage the games but these are relatively small. There will likely be no ball boys or mascots, for instance. The Club is likely to decide to close off for spectator use the "tardis terrace" to ensure the two teams have separate exit/entry points to the pitch and don't crowd space in the tunnel etc.

More details, particularly concerning ticket arrangements, will be on the Club website tomorrow.

May I take this opportunity to remind all spectators of Covid protocols such that anyone displaying symptoms, or in receipt of a positive Covid test, must not attend any fixture.”

I know football is a slightly different industry to your average 9 to 5 but the staff at the club don't necessarily work 24 hours a day.

If Sutton have only just released details, I would give us at least the next working day to sort out what the position is and communicate with Sutton.

Would also be nice if any of the clubs could advise if students count as concessions but alas for social media teams to answer a question is too hard these days.

Home clubs set the prices and rulings for matches. Have you tried emailing or contacting Sutton directly to find out about concessions? If you have done this already and not received a response, please let me know who you contacted and I’ll speak to them.

Also, SFC would only publish the information provided from Sutton.

Bit of a pain for me. Can't buy on the day and can't buy in advance! I'm on holiday next week so won't be back to receive anything in the post. I'll have to send them to someone else going to the game I guess. And no guarantee theyd arrive in time anyway, plus no doubt any extra £2.50 fee for postage.

Probably won't be allowed in the ground with a suitcase anyway hahaha.

Bradford we had details on our site of how to buy advance tickets for collection from the ticket office without it being clear whether that meant ours or Bradford's.

The site then said you could buy on the day from Bradford's ticket office but they only put it up 24 hours ahead of time so I missed it and had to trek from the opposite corner of the ground to buy one.

I definitely think COVID has made away fans even more of an afterthought.

Sutton don,t know what is going on at there club at the moment . if they are playing the covid game
then the game will be off next week, but then they could blame the internationals with all there players who
were called up, or they could say they have to many injuries in there squad,or there still waiting for the grass to grow.
or the photo-copy has run out of ink to print the tickets.
but at least you don,t have to wait 20 minutes to get in there clubhouse for a drink.

PS Re Stripes bloke on door sad only 150 allowed in at one time.Must just be club decision as no legal restriction.
