Don't know if this was reported anywhere, but was there an attendance figure for the Papa Don't Preach Trophy match the other night?

Oh dear, here we go again. Please see Chuds' comment of August 18th in the "Luton Attendance" thread, which reported the club's claim that they have ten days in order to provide an attendance figure. In a way this is true, because the EFL requirement is ten days, in which time they need to supply the attendance and gate receipts. However, every other club manages to provide the PA News representative with the attendance at the end of their games (except AFC Wimbledon so far this season, who have the excuse of a new stadium).

PA News generally provide updates in the week following, which find their way onto sites like Soccerbase. It looks to me as if Soccerbase don't do so if the wait stretches into the second week. So, Luton, Wycombe and Spurs U21 are still missing. The good news is that Barrow, Port Vale and Swindon are reported! So there is hope....

No.

I requested that and the Wycombe attendance earlier today.

Also confirmation on the referee at the Luton game as it was announced in advance as Gavin Ward, and from being there and seeing the highlights since I believe it was still him, but everywhere has gone with Andy Woolmer instead. That would be the third time the announced referee has not then been the actual referee this season, which is ridiculous.

Cool, one for Pete and me to both update then. Thanks!

Edit: Woolmer managed to grow some hair during lockdown!

Edit 2: Soccerbase shows that Woolmer did Luton against Peterborough on the Satdi and Lutom against us on the Tuesday, with Woolmer doing Hull's game against PNE on the Satdi. I wish they would just keep the referees they announce in advance to save all these issues!
