It’s not working , and today we saw a complete lack of desire and players literally giving up. Please leave with while we understand you gave it your best shot Revs and if need be give it to Keef, it wouldn’t be worse if we did

Wallace doesn’t sack cheap options until he absolutely has to

Thinking about it, considering what a wank hirer he is, he’s a talented sacker. We often escape after his appalling experiments/ poundland appointments

He might be fiscally prudent, even tight and often a bit mercenary in his management but to suggest that he is looking to make money is ridiculous and insulting.

He wants to minimise his losses but that's just management. Sometimes yes, he gets it very wrong.

If he wanted to make money the last thing he'd do is run a L2 football club. He has spent a small fortune on it.

It wouldn't have been much of a gamble, in my view. He has a proven track record one league below, achieved on a modest budget. This is preferable to the 'experienced League Two manager', which usually means he has experienced failure too many times to have progressed.
I was strongly against Rev's appointment at the time, because I thought that WAS a huge gamble. I'll grant there were times last season when I thought it might pay off, though I was always concerned that someone who came over so badly in a non-hostile interview would struggle big time to motivate players.

our manager seems to have run out of ideas which does seem to please a few faces at stevenage
but i would look also at some of the players today, a certain defender should never play in a stevenage shirt again
he must have given forest green players more passes than to a stevenage player in the first half.
if we change our manager lets get someone from outside stevenage who wont fuck about and clear out some of
the shit in the squad.
forest green are a good side and played decent football and deserve to be were they are,but i do not expect a stevenage side to play like they did today.

well i just noticed he was played in the midfield and not in defence
now that is how bad he played, and as for playing only 3 defenders against the top
league two team and after losing to sutton last week is beyond belief.
as for it,s time to go, should be fuck off while you can and take Wildin with you.

You talking about Prosser? I've been saying he was fucking dogshit since the beginning of last season and everyone told me I shouldn't expect so much from a League Two defender.

He is fucking abysmal and directly causes us to concede goals literally every time he plays.

I really couldn't narrow it down. Everyone was just giving the ball away because there was zero movement in front of them. Players just standing next to or behind FGR players hoping no one notices them.

Prosser was fine today. Marshall was far worse and at fault for two of the goals.

Taylor and Reeves (who was lucky to avoid a red card) had their worst games for us so far, as did List.

Most of them were poor. Daly was a bright spark, as he has been in every single game he has started for us.

Watching the goals back just now on Quest and all four of them were as soft as I thought at the time. So basic.

We lack experienced players who recognise that coaching is useful up to a point. But when you are losing / being fucked over you need people with a brane or spirit. I will have the temerity to leave my ‘zone’ and actually do something with the football. Love the ball. Hopefully my teammates might fucking run.

People like Sampson think they can ‘coach’ every square yard of a pitch. I want to see Jon Brady booting people. Robbo. Beardo. Steve Berry wouldn’t pass sideways - because every available option disappeared in the 7 touches he took to control the ball

What about when Prosser stood ball at feet and was looking around and allowed tiny little Matt to tiptoe up behind him to nick it off his toes? You could say where was his call. But that wasn't OK. You are correct on the other stuff!

Ok, now I know for sure you don't know what you're talking about. Norris is a lot of things, but lacklustre is not one of them. He's clearly worked hard in the off season, looks much sharper, but is getting dogshit service.

It was discussed in the bar after that maybe Norris is being told to stay where he is and not go chasing things etc. That his role is to be up top and provide an outlet. Obviously didn't work today on any level but he could be getting criticism like this when that's what the gaffer has asked him to do.

You would think he would be dropped or be shouted at etc if he wasn't doing what was asked of him. But then the whole team can't have been doing what they were told to today!
