Kindly, I disagree.

I thought it was a really good point on the road and really important to get a result after two back to back losses. Ive said over the opening 9 games we need to be harder to play as in many of the recent games we haven’t been a hard to team to play at all. Yesterday we played was much better. Without the ball we tucked in, worked hard and won our battles and on the ball created a few good chances only to be denied on the line.

To get out the little rut the points and draws are so important. They provide a platform for results and eventually turn those draws into wins a little bit like what we’ve done in the past.

But overall, very happy with result, a clean sheet which is always nice and now a chance to get a win on the board in the next 2 home games to start a big month.

Shorter trip for me, but it was great support today, plenty of singing and feel the team benefitted from it. Played a lot better than last week. Still a bit of the mindset trying not to lose, perhaps understandably. Need more belief in ourselves and to make changes when it's clear the other team are in top.

169 away fans out of 1667 total. Just over 10% of the crowd for an away game doesn't happen often.

Performance sounded, from the commentary, much better than of late. Good point on the road, given the opposition's league position.

Yeah, it was better. Much better urgency. And we played around their press quite well a few times. I still don't love the style of play (too direct for my liking) but the overall performance was an improvement.

Not sure what to make of Reid. He makes a nuisance of himself under long balls despite not being a target man and shows some good instincts, but doesn't seem to do much with the chances it creates.

Felt he did well yesterday and was unlucky to be taken off. I would have brought on Norris up front with him earlier in the second half and moved List back into the midfield.

Not too many complaints about today. We were the better team and probably should have won. 3 chances cleared off the line.

TVC was excellent, and I thought Osborne had a good game. Barry was good first half, less so second half. We looked FAR better playing a standard 4-4-2. I'd have liked to see Barry on the right, but other than that the lineup was solid.

Had Reid showed a little more composure and cut the ball back, we probably would have scored and likely won the game. As I said, not too much to complain about and a decent enough result.

Quite enjoyed that. Harrogate are not a bad outfit as the league suggest. They will be the more disappointed. 3 off the line for Boro and a couple HB pen shouts, but rightly not given.

Much much better than last week but couldn’t get any worse.

Bit better today. Both teams could have scored, and it's been pretty even.

We've had two chances cleared off the line. One from a Barry header and one from a Reid shot (which should have been cut back to Barry for a tap-in).

Barry had a good half, and the formation looks far better than it has been.

Although Reid has been ok I wouldn’t mind Norris coming on for him to hold up play in their half a bit more.

Delaying the inevitable, I fear.

This is a bit better today, though. We need to try and get hold of possession better, but the urgency is better than we have seen in the last few weeks.

Does that mean you think we play possession football? Because I can tell you with 100% certainty that we do not.

Edit: 12 games this season, average possession = 51.2%. So marginally in our favour. Hardly the stat of a team that is supposedly possession based.

We pass it in our own half which might br ‘possession’ but is absolute nonsense unless you’re closing a game out or generally managing things. How you play without the ball is just as important. You were criticising moi and others for wanting ‘pashun’. Sorry Pep. Demand more geometry from Revs and his band of average footballers and prepare to be disappointed.

Don’t worry kitty kat I’m not gonna boot you this evening cos Boro had 65% possession...

We don't do that though. We dick about with it and then eventually just thump it long, usually down the channels. We don't play a patient, possession based game. We play direct into the channels.

To quote yourself... "Christ, I can't believe i have to explain this..."

There was a point where we had a throw in their half, passed all the way back to the keeper and then gave it away with a bad pass.

If a player decides nothing is on when we have the ball in the opposition half I'd rather see an aimless hoof in the correct direction than put ourselves under immediate pressure. If we're good at offering an option to the man on the ball it won't happen that often.

If we can't offer a forward option then it means we're shit and doing a parody of teams the manager has seen on the telly won't change that.

(I'm agreeing with Eves here about the 'dicking about' rather than defending hoofing in its own right)

That's probably why when we kick off we play it back to Coker and he hooks it down the line.

And why when either of our full backs get the ball during the game they just hook it down the line.

Not sure what formation that is... but it doesn't look like 4-2-2-2. Glad to see Osborne back.

Hopefully, it's a 4-4-2, with some combination of Barry and LJW on the right, Ozzie on the left, and Reid and List up front.

My guess is that it will actually be a repeat of the 5-2-3 we saw last week, with Coker LCB, Barry LWB, Reeves and Taylor in midfield, Osborne left forward, List right forward and Reid up top.

It could also be a repeat of LJW playing RCB, with Barry RWB and Coker LWB. Although I'm not sure that's any better.

Seems the graphic was wrong. Looks more like Barry LM and Osborne RM.
