Basics

First of all today not the worst of performances and probably a fair result. I don’t think anyone can argue win loose or draw today.

That said our fundamental football is appalling to a man. So many basic passses missed, telegraphing challenges, following the ball out of position the list goes on. These are professionals and while some of the more intricate stuff today was good you can’t play 90 minutes 40 games as season and expect to win playing with such a disregard for basic footballing techniques

Agreed, I really enjoyed the game, we were miles better than I was expecting from reading on here this season. List created some great opportunities, shame he didn't finish and the offside at the end

Agreed. Was great having Linesy back in the team, if Listy could finish his dinner we would've won comfortably.

To be fair he was top draw especially first half. Although not sure on the point of his little spin before kicking the ball

Farman used to do the little spin. The Orient keeper did it as well. Just to make sure there isn’t a player behind him.

Agreed but at least he looked a step up. We still need to stop the cheap free crosses into the box, but that won't change until the system does.

Reeves is a complete waste of space in the team.

This counts as 3 points, the lads excelled, terrible to watch but that’s league 2, Results matter.

Hi Owen, I think drawing with LO, who are 9 th in table counts as a scalp, I call it 3 if not 4 points.let’s see who’s right in May.

Hi GarstonBoro

A few people have said Orient were poor today which I’m not doubting, but a draw against a poor team at home is 2 points dropped.

I’m confused how your classing it as 3 points that makes no sense unless I’m missing a point here ?

It’s like saying the draws at home to, Port Vale, Swindon and Exeter are classed as 3 points. Home games in our situation we need to be gaining as many wins as possible not dropping 2 points all the time.

slapping ourselves on the back after a nil-nil draw with a team as WASP said were poor. Have we sunk so low! Wake up everybody smell the coffee do we really want to be excited after what has happened so far today and this season too?

I think not. Be absolutely sure that under the current regime nothing will change and I will most surely be packing the sandwiches, getting the coffee sorted and filling the car on one of the longer ways to some National game next Autumn and that Ladies and Gents is the real truth.
