John Coleman or Steve Evans?

Which one to sort out the mess we're in, root and branch (yes, I know it's only hypothetical)?
Both absolute arses but you have to have a grudging respect for the job they do. Both would go through our work-shy squad like a dose of salts. But which one would you have? Coleman for me - can't deny he's done an amazing job at Accrington on a miniscule budget

This is happening with Koeman as PW seems to have tempted him away from Barcelona now.

Gary Neville just said that bringing in a new coach to try and bail out the manager never works out.

Definitely Coleman. He'd never swap Accrington for us. I like their chairman too, a good follow on Twitter.

Never say never, he did leave Accrington for 2 years to play the field.

He did go back after spells at Rochdale and a couple of others.

Coleman would be his own man - no assistants - no mentors, giving us stability.

Worth a shot but would he come south, dropping a league, maybe two, if our form doesn't improve?

Would anybody worthwhile want to be in charge of a ship leaking water? This is the dilemma for any prospective manager...do they risk their reputation on us?

Coley won't drop a league and shift his family.

He lives local to Accrington all his family are local. His mates are local. Jimmy Bell is his closest pal, he's also tied to the NW.

They might be tempted by a bigger, stable Northern club and a decent budget

We are not bigger, we don't have any money to speak of, nor can we be classified as Northern.

For me John Coleman is a better manager then Evans, but this is a pointless thread as mentioned below their both employed and can’t see Coleman leaving Accrington any time soon.

On a serious note the managers I would welcome to Boro would be Luke Garrard or Mike Flynn.

Hasn’t managed a team since 2013 and looking at the stats he did ok at Swindon, but only lasted 13 games at Sunderland and didn’t do as well there.
