I do get fed up with managers constantly blaming the refs , especially when sometimes they may have a near faultless game and give a 50/ 50 or even 30/70 big decision against their team and they complain.
That said today , the ref gave 22 fouls against us which is so many when I can?t remember any aggressive fouls ( Pidge in the first half , maybe) . It?s literally stopping the game for every slight coming together and then stopping the game for quite some time and waiting forever to blow the whistle before re starting the game . After doing this and keepers faking injuries etc , how he can then add on four minutes is bemusing . We didn?t play well enough today and just didn?t compete well enough in the first half , so the result is fair enough. Hated the refs performance though.

Replying to myself.
Burnley V Luton goal at the end . It?s a 50/ 50 . Rio Ferdinand said he thought it was a goal and then he said it?s a foul . It?s a 50/50 - get over it , stop moaning about refs .

Sent off Karl Robinson in his first game in charge of Salford after 14 minutes for preventing a quick throw in for FGR.

Plus two players.
So unlike him to always make sure he is the centre of attention.

I?m glad he didn?t blame the ref. He answered the question pretty well. Who knows what he really thinks.

The yellow he awarded to Nick Freeman after a fair 50/50 was borderline fraudulent.

The reaction from Freeman must be common place in football. Refs must, more often than not, turn a blind eye to it. In our case, we now have a reputation of slagging off nearly every ref during matches and then again afterwards. When one of our players reacts, as per Freeman, its the straw that breaks the camels back. Another reason why, on 50/50's, the ref subconsciously gives fouls against us. As mentioned earlier in another post, slamming the ref has got to stop. It is blindlngly obvious it isn't doing us any favours and could have contributed to the result yesterday. By the way, that sprint by the ref made my day!

You get my point but I see yours too.
Fans of every club slate the ref, they pay their money they can vent their frustration.
When it comes from within the game/club, from managers, coaches and players they might find by toning down it might help. As we have seen, firing off at the ref by the men on the field seems to have the opposite effect to what we would hope for.
By the way, refs do seem quite poor but our team may have to learn how to get the best out of the ref rather than rile him.

I understand this. I?m fed up of us blaming refs for what is often our own shortcomings. At the same time, I agree that the ref today spoilt the game and all of the 50/50s went only one way. It meant there was no rhythm to the game. Likewise, I was expecting 7 to 8 minutes of added time. His sprint after placing the ball down for their keeper to take a free kick bought a laugh from the crowd and said all you needed to know about him today.
