Harvey White

How do people feel he did today? Has he done enough to earn himself a run in the starting line up?

Didn?t watch the game today, but I?ve been impressed when I?ve seen him play and saw he got quite a few minutes today. I?ve been a little worried about our distribution from the back coming across as a bit lost for ideas, especially later in the game.

I feel HW dropping a bit deeper could really make those long balls much more of a threat again, as well making us less reliant on that approach too if we wanted to switch it up.

He?s also a killer with set pieces, which has its obvious benefits in our team/system.

Bad. For us.

Good footballer. We£re not the right club for him.

I thought he was as good as anyone on the pitch for us today.

He puts himself about, is surprisingly good in the tackle, he?s got great balance and uses the ball really well.

I?d argue he?s exactly what we need to compliment what we already have in the side.

Disagree completely, he can still put in a shift, but his technical abilities give us something else. Adds an edge to our midfield. He starts over JFC for me every day of the week.

This is what I?ve been thinking as well, but wasn?t sure if I was getting carried away with myself.

I think if we weren?t so happy not have possession, we could probably get away with playing White and JFC together. But because we actually ?enjoy? not having possession and chasing our opponents to catch them on the counter.

I wonder how far we can get with Evans ball, and whether we start to transition into more conventional established L1 system. We certainly play a pragmatic style and I?m all for it as long as we keep getting the results.

In fairness he's just signed this season and is only 22. He has played a grand total of 36 over loan spells to Derby and Portsmouth.

JFC is 29 and had over 200 appearances for various clubs before he came to us so it feels like a bit of an unfair comparison.

Personally I think Harvey is showing promise and will rotate into the side more and more over the next few seasons to eventually becoming an indispensable starter.

For me he offers a lot more, other people I appreciate will prefer JFC.

Did himself no harm at all. He dropped off a bit when the whole team did, didn't look out of place and offers a bit of dynamism. Might still be better coming on against tired legs in a side that doesn't dominate possession.
