We may as well pick 5 defenders and 5 forwards

Didn't a midfielder score the winner?

Reminder that they beat us 3-0 away.
If we tried to play them at their own game it would be 3-0 again.
We played our own game today and dominated.
Happy enough with the result.
Stop the moaning

Wasn't the winning goal scorer a midfielder? Well there you go then.

Quote from a Blackpool fan via their forum.
"Stevenage are absolutely shite football wise, like beyond shite, but we've played into their hands and they've done this to loads of teams."
This was classic Stevenage and I enjoyed it.

We were ?football shite? today. Other than that it?s nonsense. You don?t get to be 6th at this time of the season being shite. The football snobbery in this league is laughable. For me, Oxford and Peterborough have played football against us at a level above, them aside everyone else has been at the same level, despite their delusions of grandeur

I didn?t think blackpool was that good myself, good football but no end product.

Hard to disagree. Some of the stuff Evans has served up has been a painful watch at times. We would get slaughtered in the Championship playing like this.

Hmm, I reckon it was a tight game, and we just about did enough to win. Nothing but positives to take from today. Brilliant hard-fought result. Our defence and keeper were superb. Pidge... no superlative does the bloke justice.

Wrong. We would get slaughtered in the Championship playing keep ball on the edge of our area.

From a veteran of the Cloughie years this is poor poor stuff. Pull yourself together man. It?s what Uncle Victor would?ve wanted!!!

Not your finest riposte either old boy. Very half-hearted! Haven?t seen Victor for years although he did recommend his lawyer to me a few years back. Expensive but got the job done!!!!

We have won three 50/50 games on the trot, all against teams who are much bigger than us . Away to Wigan , they tried to pass it out from the back but we continued to make it difficult for them . Today , Wigan beat the best passing team I?ve seen us play.
I reckon Steve E , knows a bit about what he?s doing and his midweek interviews are smart .
We have a brilliant manager and coach who actually never moans about not being elsewhere- I?d imagine he must think ? why am I not managing higher up ?
The bench today was so strong, our chairman is perfect.
All positive I?d say

We looked a completely different time after HT. Good substitutions as well.
Just not sure what Burns brings to the midfield.
