Match Fred

TAH remains on the bench :(
Pidge,Nathan, TVC, Luther and Nesta so a back 5 as Burns is back starting too.
Burns, Freeman and JFC in a midfield 3
Reid and Oliver continue up top.
A 5 should suit Nesta's attacking instincts. Hope Luther is fully rested because we're gonna need him up in support on the right in the absence of Roberts.

Quite possibly the worst handball decision I've ever seen.
Might as well have given the penalty for violent conduct, would've been equally justifiable as handball.
Moron officials, I'll have a blue card because you're a stupid prick.

Doubt it. Tbf I can't see what Butlers left arm is doing on the reply, if he's somehow touching his should with his hand then there's a chance it's hit his actual arm rather than shoulder.

Wasn't a handball from what I saw, looked like it hit him on the shoulder/then side of head, and only was about 6 yards from the cross which was fired at him.
But previous to that was a poor header out by piergianni, put into a dangerous attacking area, a hoof upfield would have suited better with only a few seconds left. He's been immense this season.
What a shame, total turnaround in second half, should really have put it to bed.
Robbed by the lino.sadly... the ref, funnily enough was giving us quite a lot of the 50/50s

A good point just seen on Twitter...
If it's handball and a pelanty, the lino should surely be signalling a flag across his chest - rather than waving his flag and signalling as if a throw in.
Edit: Anyway, if we didn't waste chances, this wouldn't even be a debate.

Yep Pidge killed us with that headed. He boots it up the pitch we win.
Burns simply has to score his chance to make it 3-1. Reid's before was harder due to the defenders on him.

Think a point was about right after that first half and failing to take our chances. Port Vale just had to show up. We really need to get scoring from open play again. I like Freeman playing as a proper winger.

As much as Steve blamed the players for the first half, I think we got it massively wrong tactically. We've played them enough times there recently to know what is going to work and what doesn't.

He was absolutely buzzing to give that. Absolutely desperate to get involved. Waved that flag around like it was his last day on earth.

Couldn't tell from the away end. The lino must of been pretty confident, it was the first decision he gave all game!

Boro charity at it's finest. We just can't cope on the wider pitches.
Crazy White not even in the squad when he was the best player on the park in the cup game.
Nesta is not a patch on Saxon.

Nothing against McGillivray, he's a good keeper and deserves a chance as much as anyone. But no one can understand why we needed to replace TAH who appeared to be the best keeper we've possibly ever had, and is ours.

Every goal MacGillivray concedes is his fault, Taye would have saved, and if we don't go up it will forever go down in the record books as being because Evans is playing MacGillivray instead of Taye.

Don?t understand this bollocks about the keeper.
TAH is better so should play the games.
Hopefully we aren?t playing MacGillivray as a favour to Milton Keynes.

Evans has not got much wrong in nearly 2 years but just don?t get the TAH thing.
Why do we have a loan GK in goal with TAH on the bench just dosnt make sense.

Not necessarily a bad thing as they are already in the playoffs.
Keep Oxford, Blackpool and Orient at bay, none of whom made any ground on us.

That's true re. the Orient factor, but think I would have preferred more sides in danger.
