Good let him go. Get rid of the dead wood and previous failure. They are welcome to him.
We need to start a fresh.

Could wait until he actually goes before unnecessarily laying into him.
He is a genuine decent man who actually cares about the club and has been around the club for many years now. Deserves a bit more respect than that.
For me I'm not convinced he would be the right option, I would prefer to go with someone with a record of contending for playoffs/promotion in the EFL.
But if he did get the job I would hope everyone would get behind him rather than contribute to a downfall.

Can’t speak highly enough of Revs. When he was sacked he stayed at the club, he then joined Evans’ coaching staff. To not skulk away with your tail between your legs in that situation deserves enormous credit. It also shows a man who wants to continually improve and make a positive difference here.
I don’t think he’s right for the job just yet, but there seems to be the opinion that he either gets our managers job or he will go to Rotherham. He might be happy to stay here as a coach under the learning tree of whoever comes in next (should they want him as part of their back room staff).

Agree that Revs has given great service to the football club if he decides to move on after Saturday.
I'm not sure he's the right man for us at the moment, though would prefer him over someone else with little to no EFL managerial experience.
I'd be delighted for him if he got offered a manager's job somewhere this summer (e.g., L2/NL).

He might be better off at Rotherham still "learning" with a view to one day coming back imo

Revs managed to stay at the club and do enough penance for his management spell to wipe out his sins, how many people in football can say that

Revs is good and decent man,and I wouldn’t mind if he got the job he has learnt a lot from Steve Evans

I have looked at one of the Miller's fan forums.
Very mixed views on SE's return to Rotherham. I would say more anti than favourable.
They are expecting maximisation of the loan system through his connections.
They have encouraged fans to wear sombreros on Saturday.

Notice their Chairman did not thank us for being co-operative etc might have been a nice gesture.

Why would he? They met his release clause so we couldn't refuse.
