Interesting views on the game from what i've seen and heard. Spent the whole game by the 12th man stand. First half felt like a pre season friendly with no chances of note at all from that vantage point but talking to the moving crowd and most thought we had dominated and outplayed our opponents. I remember a Harry chance as he was played through and a Carew shot from distance comfortably saved but not much else other than possession. The Maidstone chance saved by Phils leg had been flagged offside
Second half and our best chance came as Vidal laid a ball across a gaping goal which Clunis just failed to meet. Apart from a few snap shots from Maidstone little was created to trouble Phil
In the end the point suited both (definitely Maidstone!) and leaves us with a decent chance of getting at least the point we need on Saturday
Still look toothless up front, Drage is a useful acquisition at the back, a proper no nonsense defender, does his job and does the easy thing well
Great praise for those involved in getting 3000 into the ground, cant name and don't know them all but it was an outstanding effort. For those that have been selling tickets every night in the bar I salute you
