well we lost 4-2 against a well organised 'professional' side. Their striker Danny Mills scored a hat trick and won a (dubious) penalty and we couldn't deal with him. We were 1 down when Kevin James ghosted past a static defence and slotted home. Then about 5 mins before half time Drage nearly had his head kicked off as he cleared a cross. This resulted in a corner from which we conceded. WE conceded another header before Carew made it 3-2 after Scannell was brought down. Mills completed his hat trick with the last kick

Now the other stuff, our selection had many of us wondering with Nelson and Hibbert as full backs Sankofa partnering Pinnock and Drage anchoring midfield with Carew . The rest of the formation I have no idea

Gavin was sent to the stands after a half time rant at the ref as he left the pitch.

Not sure why but I find Whitehawk a niggly unpleasant place to go, with a selection in their band (and I mean band)of about 200 fans who I have no desire to see again. Their keepers time wasting from minute 1 was pathetic, their whinging (no 7) was a pain and the dubious dive for the pen did nothing to cheer me

We may have a healthy budget these days but god knows what Whitehawk were paying. We were beaten by a physical organised unpleasant team but not outplayed

Oh well we can concentrate on the league
