Good to see us roll over a very poor team 4-0 when 1 or 2 would have sufficed in seasons gone. Yesterday we had no natural wingeres with Rhys injured so Scannell and Hibbert played wide. Looked a bit better but until we scored our first 3 minutes before half time it wasn't enthralling. The second just after half time finished the game. Willock scored a belter and Sweeney his third in3 with a scuff, far removed from the belter on Tuesday.
After my frustrated rant on Tuesday Waldren played much better and does look more comfortable with Sweeney alongside him who seems prepared to do some of the leg work (the bit missing from Carews game). He looks like he enjoys scoring and wants to win. His first was a follow up from a save and the second he attacked a corner and headed in
The revolving back four occurred again with Drage dropping down to the bench, Nelson in and Sankofa in the middle. Not quite getting it. Sankofa was poor at right back Tuesday yet Drage is dropped? In Erskine and Willock we have have a good centre forward but unfortunately they are 2 players
Finally when are our injured players going to get fit, we seem to have real problems getting players back to fitness over the last couple of season.
Clunis, Campbell, McDonald, Dixon, James, Murrell-Williamson
Ive heard so many time, 'yeah I should be back next week' from players and yet it goes. Dixon and Clunis have been out for ages with what seemed like 2/3 week injuries
