A very good performance against a good Royston team.
We (the team) didn't arrive until 7.15 due to an accident en route causing delays on the Motorway. We played well in all areas i felt and did not allow Royston the oppurtunity to control the game. Constantly knocking on the door and asking questions of the opposing defence. Their keeper was by far the busiest and had to make some smart saves over the course of the game.
With the game edging towards extra time we finally made the breakthrough. Another dangerous attack culminated in Clunis hitting a shot across the keeper which nestled into the back of the net via a Royston defender. A good midweek turnout with around 70 making the trip up!
Job done onto Whitehawk!
