Nnamani is a decent centre back, and thought their right back Nortei Nortey was their best player, quick and tidy and never got shown up, which is no mean feat in a game where our two wingers Clunis & Murrell-Williamson were on fire. Otherwise this was about as one sided a 1-0 win as you'll see. I can only recall Leatherhead having two meaningful attacks: a 30 yard free kick just before half time, straight into Wilson's midriff, and a corner than led to a header across the face of goal before a shot was blasted into the side netting. Chances will always be missed in a dominant attacking performance, but a winning margin of four goals or more wouldn't have flattered Hamlet. We beat Canvey & K's 3-0 and they each offered more resistance than Leatherhead.

The rejigging of our back four was strange; same four players as Saturday, bur only one of them played in the same position. Still, it didn't have any adverse effect. A bit of a worry that Erskine got injured again, with Scannell, Jarrett, Dixon& Sankofa already out. Waldren will miss Saturday's FA Cup tie at Hampton, and I guess Hayes may not want Murrell-Williamson to become cup-tied.

Team (4-3-3): Wilson - Drage, Nelson, Pinnock, Hibbert - Carew, James, Waldren(c) - Murrell-Williamson, Erskine, Clunis. Subs: Penny (for Erskine), Willock (for James), Mascoll (for Murrell-Williamson), Fernandes, Jayesimi (not used). Attendance: 625
