Im afraid another shocker at home. The first half was fairly even, we may have had the better. Bognor took the lead when a man at the back post on the left headed onto his knee and the ball went in. Chambers was cruelly exposed at LB all afternoon and looks like a player so out of touch hes really not worth his place. Hes 6ft 5 and doesnt look like he can head a ball
We equalised when Clunis (on the right) beat his man and the one enjoyable moment saw E-Abd miss the ball and Ibra shoot the ball home.
We than gave a penalty away, how many is that this season? after a few 1-2s we decided the best place to mistime a tackle was 15 yards out - woeful
The second half we were very poor. Needing a goal we were confined to a long range shot from James clear stopped by a Bognor hand, an Ibra 1 on1 and a last minute free kick i think from Daniel that hit the post
The third goal we conceded has to be down to Preston embaressingly beaten on the near post by little more than a firm pass
Bognor were quite simply better, more organised and deserved to win
The 2000+ seem to think it was some Dulwich fete with a football match in the middle. If i see the phrase 'good day out' again i may explode. I dont think this helps our home form. This is not undermining efforts to raise our crowds and presence in the area
The back four needs major surgery, our keeper inspires little confidence and we currently aren't creating anywhere near enough chances. apart from that.........................
I actually thought Carew was our best player in the first half. Second half however............................
