Just to clarify, the carvery is in the pub, out on the main road NOT at the ground.

That is a personal question...

However, with regard to eating in the carvery, no, as I am heading to the ground straight from work, and hope to be just in time for kick off.

What is a pub doing out in the main road? Surely that is a danger to traffic?

Pubs can be on main roads..just as houses can...properties are parts of main roads too. So being out on a main road, as opposed to being on a side road, which is where the Beckenham Town ground is, shouldn't cause any problems.

I would agree with you however, if a pub was in the MIDDLE of a mian road, except if was built on a very wide dual carriageway...

To be fair, the Beckenham carvery last pre-season was totally impromptu and we had 20 minutes until kick-off when we discovered it. The feast itself was the meat and Dulwich's 6-3 victory was like helping ourselves to copious all you can eat vegetables. Michael and I will be at all games with carvery's next season (Enfield, Hemel Hempstead should we draw them again) so you know which games to avoid us at now.
