Possible postponements

The FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round takes place on 25 October, and the 1st Round Proper on 8 November. As both Hendon and Maidstone (our opponents for these dates) are still in the competition and have very winnable looking away draws against Southern Premier Division sides Dorchester Town and Biggleswade Town respectively in the next round on Saturday we are in danger of having further blank Saturdays on either or both of these dates.

with all our midweek fixtures cramped in at the start of the season any replacement game would have be dragged forward from another Saturday unless we are still in the London Cup &/or Isthmian League Cup playing opponents without a game themselves.

Why 'perversely'? No doubt people would have been moaning if there hadn't been these early season midweekers, and we had a pile-up later in the season. I found our attitude toward the worthing FA Cup game, where we lost three nil, much more 'perverse' than any early midweek fixtures.
