Tea Bar ... What a Joke !!
The tea bar eventually opened today at around 3.25 pm, we are becoming a laughing stock. With over one thousand fans in the ground this is ridiculous and treats our fans absolutely atrociously. We are in the entertainment business and part of that entertainment is to provide refreshments before and during the game. Our gates are increasing week on week partly due to the fine work done by some of the Football Committee and the Supporters Trust in promoting our unique club and it is being undermined by simple things like this. I have personally spoken to Matt Rimmer about this today and truly hope this will be resolved immediately and not happen again. I would like to personally apologise on behalf of the club to all fans let down today.

I've no idea the reason as to why there was a delay today and I can't really comment on the previous matches as I wasn't there. But with our crowds increasing at the present rate and with 3 over 1000 this season already. The present situation is not ideal.
Maybe somebody can try these fella's....

Doesn't really affect me personally as I never use it, but not good, and it seems to have been an ongoing problem for some time now.
With the clubhouse closing at 5.30 for a private function too it gives a very poor impression to any newer supporters and away supporters.
I suppose if the clubhouse makes more money from private lettings then needs must, but there were very few people in there apart from the players after the game and two casks of real ale were still unfinished and one not even started when they called time. (A real shame as the Gipsy Hill Southpaw was superb and I'd have liked to have had a couple more pints!) With such a large crowd surely a bit more could be done to ensure this doesn't happen? A majority of people will usually have left by around 6.30pm anyway; can't people hiring the place be told "it's a matchday, you can't have it until 6.30"? I didn't see any evidence of people arriving for the private letting when I left just after 5.30. I doubt many guests for any private letting are going to arive that early on a Saturday evening in any case.

Wasn't there, but its gone beyond a joke. I just don't bother anymore. Sainsburys/Starbucks and bring from home. Id say the average spend there is about £5 a game for approx. 200 individuals, maybe more. That's £1000 a game. 23 league games plus maybe 7 others with cups and friendlies. That's £30k a season minus overheads so probably over £20k profit?. Well if we afford to give that away, fine

Perhaps the teabar could be handed over to a Supporters' Cooperative? Vegan beanburgers, lentil stew and mung bean soup as well as fairtrade coffee and gluten free beard and butter pudding? Over to you Hadley.

Beard and butter pudding... don't know if that's a typo or a comment about the amount of trendy beards in our support?!
