Immense Keeper
Views: 3259
Stones fan here, just had to come on here and say how well your keeper played last night. Got a lot of stick in the second half and maybe that spurred him on!
As always a competitive game between the two sides and if we're going to drop points I think there are few teams most of us would rather lose them to than Dulwich.
Shame about whoever it was that tried to get a 'What do you think of Dulwich...' chant going.

Great game dave.
We deserved some luck after hitting the post in the last minute last time.
Every maidstone fan I spoke to was lovely. Some did not like us in the town end and sadly at least one maidstone fan let the club down according to other maidstone supporters.

Unfortunately we do have one or two that just don't get it.Apparentlyv we're not supposed to respect the opposition. Fortunately they're few and far between.
And yes I think that is heathside, he's also the guy who films and edits all our highlights.

Stones 1 Hamlet 1

Great contest, as per usual when these two sides meet. They really battered us for spells in each half, but our defence generally stood firm with Phil Wilson outstanding in goal. Hamlet took the lead with a well crafted goal; Carew did well to work a shooting chance following a corner, with a stunning shot from a tight angle that the keeper could only push away and as the home defence pushed up Vidal chipped a wonderful ball over the top from the edge of the box for Forbes to drift through and head wide of the keeper. Maidstone's passing and movement going forward really stretched us at the back on a number of occasions and eventually we cracked as the equaliser was knocked in from close range on the hour. Disaster seemed to strike with ten minutes to go when Wilson just reached a loose ball inside the box in time to push it to safety, only for the ref to pull play back and penalise Forbes for an earlier challenge, awarding a penalty and showing our captain a red card. However Wilson plunged to his right to batter away the penalty kick, and this seemed to give Hamlet fresh momentum. With Maidstone looking desperate for a winner Hamlet began to look increasingly dangerous on the attack. Clunis hit the post from close range and had another effort hacked off the line by a defender following a brilliant run, going past his man on the outside and shooting across the keeper.
Team 94-2-3-1): Wilson - Hibbert, Forbes(c), Pinnock, Shaw - Carew, Samuels - Clunis, James, Vidal - Koroma.
Subs: Jarrett (for James), Kamara (for Vidal), Boyle (for Koroma), I.Mansaray, Graham (not used).

Just spotted this. If it went over the town end it was heading away from the M20 and is probably in Hastings by now :)
