Stuart Hobbs RIP

Just Seen The Terribly Sad News Of Stuart Hobbs Passing Away This Evening.
Although Unwell I Can Remember Seeing Him At Game In October And Though You Could See He Was Struggling A Bit He Told Me He Was Determined To Come To The Match.
He Loved His Cricket Too And Many A Time l Would See Him With A Few Others In The Mound Stand At Lords When Middlesex Were Playing.
But His Work At Borough Was Never Ending He Told Me Once At One Of Our Fans Work Day But It Gave Him Satisfaction To Help Borough And He Ended Up That Day Painting The Inside Of The Disabled Toilet Next To The Tea Bar!
I Ended Up Pulling A Few Weeds Near The Grandstand On That Day Of 90F Heat!
On A Personal Level Stuart Always Willing To Give Time For A Chat In A Friendly Way And Willing To Give A Fair Assessment On How Things Were Going And Was On Our Forum As Fixtures Direct.
Both Home & Away He Was There To Help Borough.
Not Just A Fellow Fan But A Friend I’ve Lost Tonight And May l Give My Heartfelt Condolences To Stuart’s Family.
God Rest You Stuart. I Will Miss You My Friend.
