First goal was one of those freak mistakes that used to appear on a Danny Baker own goals and gaffs video.
More frustrating is the second goal. Ball heading straight to Jacob when a defender decides to back head it off for a corner under no pressure.
Corner hit to the far post where a free header from a few yards out made it a mountain to climb.
We probably had more chances in the game but their keeper didn't have to make many saves.
Swindon were bigger and more physical throughout. They also liked to go down and get the physios, plural on whenever Boro were having ya good spell.
Part of the attraction of non league football for me has always been that its old school football with normal blokes playing because they love the game.
However, it's now like watching Serie A most weeks with players going down faking injuries after minimal / no contact and trying to con the officials.
Today's special mention goes to yesterday's ref who should have been wearing a spinning bow tie and squirty flower.
Consistently inconsistent. Guessed (wrongly) at a lot of decisions and denied Swindon the most blatant penalty you'll ever see despite only being 10 yards away.
No midweek game will hopefully allow some injuries to heal before the trip to Chesham. However it'll take a couple of new faces to put a stop to this slide towards relegation.
