8 years is a long tenure managing one club.
Steve is good bloke and a good manager. I'm sure he'll have success at his next club.
We're at a point where a new voice was needed as too many players have underperformed for him on a regular basis.
If we can stay up, the job will be a lot more attractive.
A young hungry manager wanting to make a step up would hold off on their application until they knew which division we are in.
