We have to Honest here on our Forum and say that was Embarrisngley Poor.
First of all well played Hartley Whitney and Mitch Parker scoring 4 Goals lm sure they will toasting their pints in the Village Tonight.
Starting at The Beginning good to have MCS back but a Surprise was he had a good understanding with George Moore playing along side centrally but George dropped to midfield and the Barnet Loanne Chime played along side Marc instead.
I was told in my limited time as assistant manager for a Sunday League side if you have winning combination stick it.
So to me thats a mistake straight away.
Just because we have someone on loan doesnt mean he has the right to start.
Ive got to blunt l think Steve Baker is a good manager but that was the wrong call.
As for the game we couldnt do the basics 3 crosses first half either too long or cant beat 1st defender a shot 20 yards over the bar.
Yet no one on the pitch says a word.
Like thats ok we did our best.Far from it.
Hartley Whitney should have been 4 up with their chances at half time
Their first goal a fine shot but too much space so they went in 1-0 at Half time.
Amazingley no subs came on at Half time and within 5 mins we were 2 down.
We saw some subs at last and Anthony O'Connor came on and nearly gave us a lifeline after we won a Pen but his penalty was well saved but he made amends 5mins later to get us back in the game but another Worldie from their man Mitch made it 3-1 and 6 yards of space and then he made it 4-1.
What more can l say but this every player must earn his place every player must work harder in training if we dont next Saturday l fear Taunton may put 6 or more goals past us.
Im giving MoM for 1st time ever to an opposing player Mitch Parker of that Village team who shut me up!
