Don't like to hear news like this. Very sad that he died following an operation on his knee - no doubt at least partially sustained playing footy. Was one of those players that gave his all for the club and was a true fans favorite . Scored a great goal in our 3-0 win over Wealdstone in 1977. A memorable game to say the least for me. Was in the promotion winning team of some years later. What memories he and that team bring back in times like this.
