So we are 1-0 down as I write this. Team lineup is not the most inspiring. 6 defenders in the starting 11...

What a poor result today. There are still plenty of games left but we're going to have to sort our form out asap if we are to even challenge for the play-offs.

I'm all for attacking football but the first rule is that you have to have a solid defence first. We're conceeding just over 2 goals per game on average and have conceeded the second most goals in the division and let's be honest Staines don't even really count because of the state that club is in.

I'd love to know if a team with the second most conceeded goals in the division has ever been promoted. I'd be very surprised.

Looking at the overall picture, I still believe we are doing very well and have certainly exceeded my expectations for the season so far. I say so far because we are only 13 points off the relegation zone!

Just got back and how we didn't go 3 or 4 nil down at HT God only knows.
We were dreadful, and the defense all over the place, they hit the bar twice before they scored their first. I think all though I stand to be corrected if wrong that they have only scored 7 at home in the league prior to this game.
Positives,? Well once 3down we actually started to play, my personal thought was that we looked better when Michael Bryan and George Moore went wide and Josh Andrew came on.
Fair play to Anthony O'Connor for getting his two goals, but boy, we are gonna miss Dylan Kearney big time (hope I'm wrong)
Mind you we still nearly nicked a draw at the end when there keeper pulled off a fantastic save from a Moore pile driver in the dying seconds.
But we really wouldn't have deserved it over all.
Defensively we've got to sort it out and start playing from the start, not just in the last half hour.
