I liked a response from a manager when asked about if drawing a team from a lower division is a good draw. His answer was something along the lines of "we'll know after the match if it was a good draw".
There is your answer. It was a very bad draw.
Regarding the league, hopefully we will stay up. How many teams actually go down this season as we are two teams down (Merthyr and Blackfield & Langley)? Hopefully there will be one or two teams worse than us. Beaconsfield and Dorchester perhaps.

I Understand Just 2 Go Down This Season.As For A Managers Reply.We Will See After The Match If A Draw Against a Lower League Team is A Good Draw That To Me Shows A Lack Of Confidence.
We Have The Better Players Playing At A Higher Level.
I Will Spell It Out In My Article Around 8pm What's Required.
It's Not Rocket Science It's Players Well Coached,We'll Drilled And A Fierce Determination To Win.
So Badly Lacking In That 2nd Half Display!

Hi Terry, you said we have the better players playing at a higher level. I disagree with you about us having the better players. A team from a lower division can have better players and be a better team than a team from the division above. However, I do agree with you regarding your second point. Yes we play at a higher level. Cray Valley Paper Mills (I love the name) are clearly a team on the up whereas we just stagnate as usual.

I agree with you Capers, on that result we clearly do not have the better players.
Well done to CVPM for turning us over good and proper.
Unless there's a miraculous improvement and result against Chesham we're clearly one of the weaker teams in this division.

I think I’d like to see George Moore in attack rather than right wing back. Was surprised that Josh Andrews left. If Liam Ferdinand doesn’t get us goals regularly then we lack a prolific striker. Matthew was brought in from struggling Beaconsfield, MCS hasn’t been prolific for a number of seasons. O’Connor is more of a winger. Moore is our best chance at scoring.
For me now I think we should go

To be honest Terry, I hope they do not read this. You've already created their team talk! personally feel like you are being disrespectful towards a decent team who easily could come and give us a good challenge. Cray were at wembley not to long ago so certainly have something about them, as well as having a ex boro lad in the squad which will help them. There are no easy games in the FA Cup!

Agree with you there Boro Loyal.
I'm sure some of Terry's comments r said "tongue in cheek" but Cray are a good team.
Any team with Francis Babalola in it have got to be useful !
I'll never forget that cracking opening goal he scored away at Margate in the FA Cup 4th QR replay (what a night that was !)
We're going to have to be on our top game to beat them.

Don’t get ahead of yourself Terry.
Cray Valley competed in the final of the FA Vase losing to Chertsey in 2019 losing in extra time. They were also promoted from the Southern Counties East League Premier Division as champions that season. In their first season in South East Division of the Isthmian League, they were in 3rd place when the season was halted, vying for top sport with Hastings United.
This season they dispatched VCD from their own league 6-0 in extra preliminary qualifying, drew away at Hastings 0-0 in the league and beat Burgess Hill Town 3-1 in the first qualifying round.
They will be tough opposition. Confidence will be running through that club. They also have ex Boro player Francis Babalola.

Harrow Borough Are A Good Team.
Yes We Respect Our Opponents Fine But Let's Be Honest We Have Better Players Than Cray And It's A Good Home Draw To Have.
We Play To Our Potential and We Shall Win.
I Think For Too Long We Have Bigged Up About Who We Are Playing.
Im Sure Cray Will Fear Playing Us.
We've Got Good Options All Over The Pitch And The Bench Too And Im Very Confident As Always!!!

It’s a good draw in that we will be favourites and it’s at home. We will be expected to win. But Cray will be no underdogs! Hastings are favourites for that league and they managed a clean sheet away from home against them. That’s good going. They scored 9 goals in their other two games.
They have a player who scored in both rounds for them this season who has made over 100 appearances in the national leagues and is still only 26.
I agree that we should be the better side, but this is the FA Cup and Cray will be fearing nobody with the past two years that they have had!
