First Of All I Must Thank Simon Grigor Who Very Kindly Confirmed To Me On A Piece Of Paper That Our Record Winning Run Is 12 In A Row In The 1978-79 Season.
It Would Have Been 13 But For a Abadonment!
Seeing Some Of Those Great Teams We Played Like Clapton And ilford
And Walton & Hersham Brought Back Some Great Memories!
So Cheers Simon For That!
As For Tonight’s Game.
Beaconsfield Took The Lead With A Good Finish But A James Taylor Strike Levelled It Before The Break.
A Good Corner Just After Half Time, With Accuracy And Pace Was Expertly Headed In For The 2nd Goal Again By James Taylor Whose Making A Good Of Habit Of Scoring From The Back And An Excellently Worked Corner To George Moore On The Edge Of The Box Made It Number 3 With The Help Of A Post!
Another One Of Georges Gems!
But Obviously Thats Been Practiced In Training And It’s Great To See Hard Work And Effort Rewarded!
We Played A Good Direct Game This Evening.
Using The Channels Well With Good Crosses And Some Excellent Finishing.
We Were Excellent Without The Ball Closing Beaconsfield Down And Just Doing All The Basics Of Passing, Crossing, Tackling And Shooting Well.
Man Of The Match So Difficult Again But I Think George Moores Fantastic Goal And Overall Workrate Makes Him A Worthy Man Of The Match.
Well Done George A Top Fella.
So Well Done The Players And Management And The Same Again Please Saturday When We Play Chelmsford In The FA Cup.
