Couldn't be happier to be completely wrong about tonight.
Very even first half. Sloppy goal conceded but Billy equalised just before half time when the Beaconsfield keeper thought his shot was going wide and waved it in.
Second half Boro completely dominated from the start.
Great finish from Billy to put us 2-1 up and we bossed the game from there on in.
Beaconsfield hardly got a kick.
Kai was outstanding moved onto the right flank with Samuel looking sharp behind him winning every tackle.
Lots of half chances that we couldn't take which had the travelling support nervously looking at their watches.
Beaconsfield had a great chance ro equalise with 5 mins left but an unmarked header from right in front of the goal was nodded high over the bar.
Definite penalty late on that Billy took to complete his hat - trick with James Ewington having been subbed a few minutes earlier.
Couldn't believe how lethargic Beaconsfield looked. Their side was packed with athletic, fast players last season. Much changed tonight.
When was the last time a Boro midfielder scored a hat-trick?
