Even if we had a manager in place, we're not in a position to get into a bidding war for players services in the middle of May.
No player is going to commit until a manager is in place. Talking to players after games, they all have individual lists of managers who they would / wouldn't want to play for.
Hopefully, the white smoke rises above Earlsmead next week.
