doesn't look good but I don't think many people would be that surprised if the top 5 this season were Wealdstone, Kingstonian, Bury, Margate and Billericay. We should have beaten Billericay and got something from the game at Bury Town. Hopefully the heads don't go down and we can get our first win on Monday at Met Police.

We had our chances today, Simeon was denied by their keeper on a few occasions and a glorious opportunity when Benjamin and Griffiths were both through on goal but the ball zipped off the wet ground. Adam Louth was really very poor and hopefully Garry Jones will be back on Monday. He will offer a lot more going forward and we might actually score a penalty if we get one!

For me Sankoh going off at half time made the difference. Rob Wolleston still looks unfit and was off the pace most of the game. Leroy Griffiths looked reasonable against Billericay but seems to have gone backwards with each game. However difficult our first 5 fixtures or so are - we should still expect better against our arch rivals. Thought Leech and Peacock played quite well but generally the midfield other than Sankoh were not really up for it on the day - obviously need to start taking our chances - their keeper made some really good saves especially the one on ones with Simeon - it is about time we scored other than from dead ball situations. Fingers crossed Monday will see our first 3 pts. COYR.

agree it was strange to take off sankoh, but at least it was an attacking move. berry serbonij and sankoh probably our best midfield 3 with akinola Griffiths and Lucien further forward. hopefully garry jones back fit today
