How about being positive from now on. Yes we lost to North Greenford but we were unfortunate that we came up against an in form side. They had won their previous 3 games before playing us and won again today. It's not an excuse, we still should have beaten them but these things happen in football.

The North Greenford games apart our recent form isn't too shabby. Wins against Leiston and Dulwich. Now a draw against a very good Maidstone team and what a comeback.

I think the match reports which Simon writes are far too negative. They are well written and I enjoy reading them but whenever we lose it's all doom and gloom and too critical. Sometimes the truth needs to be told but not to that extent.

Let's not forget the majority of the sides we've played so far have been the top sides. We haven't played any of the five teams below us yet for a start.

agreed. think this team needs another month to prove themselves. we may have turned a corner but Carshalton on Tuesday will tell us a lot more.

just reading through Maidstone forum and a lot of praise for ronnel dennis. Always seems to be on the bench when I have watched but never come on. Looks very big and strong, could be what we have been missing.

Same old same old. So we haven't played any of the teams below us, that comes to the huge total of 5!!! As shown against NGU and on numerous other occasions we have a uncanny nack of lowering our game to the oppositions level. I'm afraid too many fans have become ingrained with a survivalist, good times are just around the corner mentality. The Boro crowd have always been too lenient towards a sub standard performances and suffered pretty much in silence, a policy that has lead to some managers and players out staying there welcome. Of course we don't want to go to the other extreme like our dear Hillingdon neighbours, but some times enough is enough. We have fine facilities and with our new sponsor and tenants must have an improved budget. If we are still failing to move forwards perhaps the people above the manager should do some soul searching!!

This was a great effort from 4-1 down. Full credit to the players for again battling against a quality team . All season & since Dave become manager we have held our own against the better teams, the problem is when need to get on the front foot against weaker teams we fall apart. Yesterday we got a point despite having two full backs that were beaten on every Maidstone attack. Benjamin was Centre forward in the first half & again contributed nothing. On the positive side the midfield looked better & most important Akinola is scoring goals. Carshalton on Tuesday will tell us where really are. Let's hope its mid table asap, then onwards and upwards

A good fightback - WELL DONE THE TEAM! Their no 7 was probably the best winger we will come up against this season and created many chances for Maidstone.
The team out on the pitch at the end of the match deserve to start on Tuesday in my opinion. The new midfielder Jake, equitted himself well.
We scored 4 brilliant goals. Whilst the new goalie did ok he seems littlke better if any than Alex. If you watch the video of him at corners you will see what I mean - and the goal straight from the corner after a previous flap - there was no player on the line. Does Louth know he is supposed to be playing at left back? Don't like to end on a negative note but there we are.
