thought we could have stepped it up more had we wanted too. barima wasn't great. willock held ball up well enough and butterworth looked dangerous when we attacked. Osobu 2 goals in 2 cant complain. Garry Jones on the bench today, apparently moving on to pastures new now though.

yeah best of luck to Garry Jones where ever he ends up playing next good servant to the club, today's game agreed if we had just turned the screw a bit earlier could have got more goals than the 4 but positives attackin options, keeper starting position good

A while back I talked about the importance of getting 18 points off the bottom three sides at the time who looked dreadful. Cray, Thamesmead and Carhsalton. Those three sides are still in the bottom three and we have got off to a good start. 6 points from 6 agasint them. We're pretty much up to mid table now but only 4 points above the relegation zone. I think the best we can hope for this season is mid table mediocrity. Not a fan of this revolving door policy. Any team would be much better off assembling a team in pre-season and sticking with it making the odd adjustments where neccesary. How does the dual registration thing work? I think we've got 4 players at least on dual registration. 3 from Hemel and 1 from St Albans. So presumably it means they can play for either team. What happens if both teams want him to play, who gets the final say? Is the team he originally signed for? Although it probably won't be an issue as Hemel are a quality side and I'm sure won't need the three players we have. Maybe St Albans will want Osubu back though.

Hemel are a good side at the moment but it wasn't long ago they were always near the foot and getting reprieved. Whats happened? investment? I guess there is hope for us!

They have a 3G pitch which generates a lot of income. They have good conference and banqueting facilities and as I understand the club is just run in a good profitable way in general. They also get bigger crowds than us (but then who doesn't?). They certainly showed us how to beat North Greenford. I reckon we would beat North Greenford comfortably now. We just played at the wrong time as they were on a good run and confidence was high.

Jake Gilbert played for Hemel last week, picking up an Injury & is now out for six week. Chendlik has also played for Hemel since joining us, so i think the parent club decide who they play for, although I think duel reg only applies to non contract players so if the player chooses one club ahead of the other he can.
