Good News for Club finances & Players remaining . Look forward to a few new grounds too. VCD (Crayford), Peacehaven & Witham are all new grounds for us. a Middx Derby against Hayes at Maidenhead will be interesting.

I get the feeling a lot of people, officials and supporters believe change is bad. Personally I wouldn't mind moving to the southern league but hear the impact would be an increase in travelling and a decrease in attendances?

Being out the country, it makes little difference to me. Personally if I wasn't out the country, I'd definetely want to be in the Southern League. Clearly much better days out from a fans point of view. I don't know what the difference is like in standard. A lot is made of the longer journeys so extra costs but in the Ryman almost every away game involves a trip around the M25 and well the least said about that the better. Plus if we went into the Southern League we would get to meet our former manager, Eddie Stein who is manager of Banbury.

Hendon, Hayes, Burnham, Slough and Chesham would make for better 'local' games in my opinion. Now in the Ryman I would have to say our 'local' games would be Hendon, Enfield, Hampton and Kingstonian.

We have some South East London based players that would prefer to play in the Isthmian League, so another reason to stay.
The need for coaches to more away games will be financial headache, but I agree away games will become a lot more interesting in the Southern League
