two wins and ran Maidstone right to the end. suggests may have turned the corner after some disappointing defeats. two games coming up against bottom of the league and 2nd from bottom (FA Cup). hopefully can get some more wins under the belt

Winning games against teams that on paper are weaker has been a continuous problem. Yesterday was an impressive rearguard action for an hour. Then finally took the game to them in the final 20 mins. We have to set up far more positively on Tuesday. Lewis Driver has so much more about him than Charles-Smith. I hope he is given a start as a FORWARD. The midfield needs some width. Sitting 2 or 3 midfielders in front of the center backs might stop the opponents but it leaves us with so few options when we have the ball. Ben Long needs to given a bit of freedom to play, as he & Harold look capable of being a really strong engine room.

Yes - the next 2 games are a good chance to see how we have progressed. Am sure DA and the team will treat these games especially as seemingly again this year any team on their day will have a good chance against higher placed opposition. Lewis going up front did seem to make a difference - as did our new loanee from Borehamwood. Despite being young looks like he can pass and is not easily knocked off the ball. Hopefully he will start on Tuesday.
