Thought we played very well today, fought hard, lots of determination and desire showed and were unlucky to lose 4-1. Think we deserved to take it to penalties. If we show that some of performance in the league, we will be much harder to beat. Having only drawn 1 game so far in the league and losing 12, that is something we desperately need to be. However I cant really see us winning games playing like that. far too often the ball went forward to marc Charles-smith who had very little in support. Lets hope we kick on like we did in 2010/11 after a good cup run!

Credit to all the players we took the conf south leaders to the wire . some big if onlys . 90 min Nick had a great chasnce to win it, but went inches wide. at 2-1 . a definite penalty but the ref mised it & the Linesman do not give fouls committed by Centre backs anymore.

Sounds like we gave it everything which is all we could have asked for really. Really proud that we drew against the top of the table team in the Conference South twice. After two good performances against a higher division team now would be the ideal time to crack on with our league campaign considering we are rock bottom but instead we have to go to 'orrible 'ornchurch in their athletics stadium in the Trophy. Not really what we need at the moment I don't think. I wouldn't say we are in a false position as we are where we are because of constantly losing but I think we are more than capable of climbing the league. Luck seems to have gone against us in the past month or so. Hopefully this is the turning point.
