Boro put in a brave display against play off winner hopefuls East Thurrock Utd this afternoon and I thought the Reds were unlucky not to come away with a point for their efforts.
Got off to a bad start when ETU went ahead after 4 mins and I thought we might be in for a bit of a hiding. But Boro held on and although I can't remember us having any real chances , we got in a HT 1-0 down.
In the second half we came out really brightly and no doubt in my mind we put enough effort in to warrant the draw but we just couldn't deliver in the final third. Then right at the death we were caught out with a sucker punch 2-0 final score.
A good away day and a great turn out from Harrow Borough fans travelling all the way down to south Essex. The "Harrow Youth" also in great voice !
So good day out in some great company just a shame about the result.
At least Needham lost so 100% safe . So can enjoy last home game against Leatherhead without worrying!

Agree. The team despite so many players missing put in a very credible performance. Cascoe's cross headed down at the far post by Newman brought an outstanding save from the ETU keeper. That was our best chance in a very good 2nd half.
a very enjoyable day, our away support has been excellent in recent games let's hope we start next season well & our Support continues to grow.

Someone from ETU has posted some hightlights of the game on line.
Post in on You Tube, East Thurrock 2 v Harrow Borough 0. Harry's chance is just after 2 mins. As u say fantastic save by their keeper.
If that would have gone in could have been a very different result.
