Come on you Reds!
Meeting on the 24th May
I can't make the meeting on the 24th due to work commitments but I know the board were looking for any new ideas about getting more people in through the turnstiles.
I wondered whether the club had ever offered free entry ( provided they are accompanied by an adult ) to under 12s ?
If we haven't it could be a good way to get new fans in who might be pestering Mum or Dad to take them to a football match who couldnt normally go because the premiership etc are to expensive.
They would be able to turn up on the day pay entry (the adult ) without season ticket, and the kid gets in free. It could certainly pick up the floating fan.
I know perhaps in the short term we might probably be losing money but I presume they would want a drink, chocolate bar, buy a programme or possibly a scarf etc and of course once hooked they might make a habit of it, comeback on a more regular basis or even buy (the adult) a season ticket.
As word got around over the months/seasons it could attract a lot more fans to us who in the long term , would otherwise go to more successful clubs locally in our area.
What do people think ?
PS please ignore if we already do this , it's just a suggestion !

Re: Meeting on the 24th May
It might be a good idea to allow the kids in free even without their parents and encourage them to bring their mates all their mates.
