So im guessing Westfields at home is the draw we all want? Failing that, North Leigh, Faversham/Egham, Taunton Town or how about Eastbourne Borough away?

I don't want Westfields. Although they're two levels below, they have won every single league and cup game this season! 16 wins from 16!

Beaconsfield would be my choice as they're a level below and struggling. Taunton, North Leigh, Faversham/Egham would also be decent.

The list of who I don't want to be drawn against is huge so I won't go through them all. Borehamwood are the first that spring to mind. Leiston are another who I would want to avoid.

Margate or Hastings United. Both teams who have been Ryman Prem companions in recent seasons. They play the initial fixture tomorrow night after it was called off on Saturday. If its a draw, I presume the replay will take place next midweek, meaning we may not know who we are playing until only a couple of days before.

But anyway, it'll be a team from the league below or the league above. Tough whatever the case, both teams will know the 1st round proper is within reach, but we are at home and will give it a go! Everybody should try to get 1 or 2 pals who normally wouldn't go to a game at Boro to come down. The crowd should be good, atmosphere should be lively and I imagine we will be in for a good game whoever we face.

I think that's a decent draw whichever side we end up playing.

Compared to the draws that Hendon & our friends from Ruislip got, I am very happy

Definetely a good draw at this stage of the competition. Not exactly very exotic though! Hopefully it will be Hastings but even if it's Margate, they aren't doing well in the Connie South and on our day at home we could give them a good game.

Just looking at the full draw and we have been given the 'kindest' draw out of the other teams from the Ryman Prem even if we do end up playing Margate. Yet again, we need to make the most of it.

Agree with everything that's been said on the thread with regards to our actual draw. (Glad we're not going to Borehamwood)
Just one step away , one step away.... Exciting isn't it !

I see it was a draw in the end (2-2) I wonder wether Hastings have missed their chance. They were only a few minutes away from a big upset.

So it Margate we face Saturday from the higher division.
It's not going to be easy, Bakes' has got to have the lads 100% focused and the the attitude absolutely spot on if we want to progress. The boys certainly don't want to come off the field thinking if only .
Whatever happens the fans are 100% behind the team .
COYR'S !

hopefully they will be feeling a little fatigued from the 120 minutes. I see they have a few former Boro players in Marcel Barrington, Aaron Tumwa, Manny Parry and Adam Cash. None made a massive impact whilst at Earlsmead but all were quite young with potential so I imagine they have improved. They also have very experienced Scott Donnelly who played for QPR and Wycombe for a number of years. Will be a stern test but one we can rise to. Hastings who were two divs below, gave them two really tough games so no reason we cant either. Have just seen Margate have only won once away from home all season. Looking forward to this one.
