Boro 0 K's 4

Went to the match today to watch Harrow being out fought, out thought and out played by a mean and ruthless looking Kingstonian side.
Four second half goals including two penalties putting Boro to the sword.
The first half was fairly even with limited chances for both sides. But K's did look a lot quicker to the ball IMO.
Same old story in the second half, I've lost count this season how many times we have started slowly and K's were to dominate from the off. We seemed to lack width at times today and Kingstonian deserved their win. I can only recall a good shot from Lewis Driver that narrowly went over the bar, otherwise I can't remember us threatening at all.
But at least the lads heads didnt go down and we kept trying to play but it just wasnt happening, so it didnt feel like the Merstham game.
But just like that game its Hamlet up next!!!
Can we put in another performance like we did against them in September? I hope so because we are now firmly in the relegation zone, I know we've got games on hand but we need points on the board quick.
We must now transfer that great cup form into great league form before its to late.

agreed that the boys have been playing well and getting results in the cup, but now its time to get some good results in the league. we need a good spell of 5 or 6 games where we pick up a good amount of points to give us some breathing room when we play all of our games in hand

Totally outplayed. Not sure how it was only 2-0, we didn't really threaten at all. Michael Bryan has gone back to playing the way we were up to & including Merstham away, slowing it down & going sideways /backwards. The sooner we start with Babalola again the better.

Yes, just can't work out our Jekyll and Hyde season at all.
In the games I've seen where we've played very good in we certainly move the ball quickly and use the width of the pitch. Babalola, Driver, Newman and Meite looking much more effective and turning defences.
The games I've seen where we have played badly or not been at the races were slow and seem over elaborate in our play.
Got to get focused, get that attitude again we showed against Margate. They've shown they can do it, we've got to do it more consistantly or we'll be adrift in the relegation places going into the new year. We don't need that.
