Come on you Reds!
Boro 1 Angels 0
Went to Earlsmead tonight to see Harrow battle out a win and claim 3 vital points against a well organised and confident looking Tonbridge side.
Luke Williams I thought put in another excellent performance in goal for Boro and undoubtedly kept us in the match, making two outstanding saves in the first half and for me was man of the match.
The whole team I thought put in a good peformance, David Taylor popping up for the vital goal which seemes to slip just under Angels keepers body when he dived for it.
Lewis came on late on and did well, Babalola Kabba and MCS working hard.
Midfield and defence also worked hard and kept focused.
A late scare when Tonbridge hit the bar but Harrow held out and perhaps had a little luckwhen they needed it. Something you rarely get when your at the bottom of the table. So I'll take it when it comes our way!
Not out of the woods by a long way. But. 4 points from two home games, I would probably have taken that before tbey were played.

Yep. A solid performance. Peacock & Preddie at centre of our defence are vital & are looking the real deal.
Onwards & upwards!
Re: Boro 1 Angels 0
Defending hasnt really been the problem. Its the lack of goals.
As seen on twitter:
@harrowboro_fc (1.37 conceded per game) have a better defensive record than title chasing @DulwichHamletFC (1.52) & Leiston (1.53).
I feel like we do have good strikers but for whatever reason in the league, we havent been putting the ball in the net enough. Is Meite still with us by the way? Saw he was training at Cardiff.
Although the 3 points only took us off the bottom, it makes the table look slightly better, with our games in hand, making it look favourable to rise out of the bottom 4. Our next 5 fixtures will be important:
Hendon away - 21st place
Lowestoft home - 7th
Enfield home - 8th
Leatherhead away - 16th
Canvey home - 23rd.
We should be aiming for at least 3 wins out of those games. We are 2 points behind Hendon having played 5 less games so a win would really do alot for us. Lowestoft and Enfield will both be tough games but at home we always have a chance, especially when Lowestoft have that lengthy journey to us on New Years Day. Leatherhead only 5 points ahead of us having played 4 more, so I expect us to be quite even and then we face Canvey Island who are below us, having played 3 games more. 10 points in those 5 games would really help us climb the table and i'm confident we can do it, if we can start to find the back of the net!!
